Michael "Lion King" Daniel Kingsdale Center: May 20th, 7:00PM
Come in and see a good friend of ODS - Michael "Lion King" Daniel is hiking the American Discovery Trail Click here for a map and more info on the ADT. He started in June at the Atlantic Ocean, came through Ohio in the fall, walked the northern part of the loop west to Denver, and is now walking the southern part of the loop back to the Ohio/Indiana border. Once he gets to the east end of the loop, he will take the train back to Denver and then walk from there to the Pacific Ocean. 6800 miles through 15 states. If successful, he will be the first person to complete the entire trail (both the N and S route) in a continuous walk.
He is a filmmaker, Walking With Freedom - Appalachian Trail 2003 and Walking West With Freedom - Pacific Crest Trail 2006. We have both of those at the shop.

He was in the shop in October when he came through, but since then has walked to Denver and back. We will be showing clips from his ADT hike and having a Q&A discussion.
